Benefit Golf Tournament Crisis Pregnancy Decision Paisley, sixteen, came to the CPC wanting to have an abortion because her boyfriend was unsupportive of the pregnancy. She didn’t understand why he was so mad at her; he told her that she did this on purpose. She said he said that he would not have anything to do with her until she agreed to have the procedure. She was afraid to tell her parents and afraid to lose him. Results: After providing Life-Affirming counseling, she agreed to schedule an ultrasound for her pregnancy verification and expected delivery date. She still feels the pressure to abort but couldn’t stop thinking about the patient’s rights card that was given to her that described the complication and risk of abortion and what could happen to her and her baby if she went through with the procedure.
